Rainbow on TV *UPDATED!
Classic episodes of Rainbow are back on TV, every night at 8.00pm from October 6th 2008 on preschool channel Nick Jr. as part of the 'Nick Jr Classics' slot.
Pantomime Season 2008/09
Rainbow regulars Malcolm Lord and Jane Tucker can be seen in
panto this year.
Malcolm, as Widow Twankey, stars alongside Debra Stephenson and Basil
Brush in 'Aladdin' at the Ipswich Regent Theatre . The production runs from 12th
December 2008 through to 4th January 2009 with matinees and evening
performances.
Jane can be seen in Truro as the Fairy Godmother in the Hall for
Cornwall's 2008 pantomime 'Cinderella' which opens on 12th December
2008 and runs to 4th January 2009 with matinees and evening
performances.

Released on 30th June 2008, these three new Rainbow DVD's are now available in handy carry cases; 'Zippy's In Love', includes the episodes 'Zippy's In Love', 'Lions And Tigers' and 'Sympathy'; 'I Want To Be A Popstar' includes the episodes 'George's Secret Place', 'I want To Be A Popstar' and 'The Explorers' and 'Super Bungle' includes the episodes 'Super Bungle', 'The Show Offs' and 'Night Out'. Whoever wrote the sleeve notes can hang their head in shame - 'Jeffrey' indeed!
