The Italian company of LAVERDA is one of the great names in the world of motorcycling and, during it's heyday in the 1970's, created some fabulous (if very expensive) bikes that were likened to "Lambourgini's on two wheels ". These included the SFC 750 - a production racer for the road, the amazing 1000 V6 Endurance racer, the MONJUIC 500 and, in co-operation with Slater Bros. UK the awesome JOTA 1000, which held the title of 'Fastest Road-going Production Motorcycle' for most of that decade with a top speed of over 140 mph.
