After a hard-fought season in the Expert class, Alex scored 3 wins, 1 second and one no-show (due to A-level exams) to win the series. Here he is winning the last race after a very hot and (initially close) 2-hour race:

In the above pic, Alex has just finished as GB Junior Mountain Bike Champion. He'll add a para in here about competing for GB over summer 2002 sometime. Oh, and here's the cup he won; rather more impressive than mine, don'tcha think?
