Eyeful appeared the year after Beauty Parade and its format remained very similar to its sister magazine. Although it contained a large number of young starlets, backstage photos and cheesecake models in the now standard photostories, the models were all either fully or at least partially clothed. This was not just to pass the censors, Harrison himself found nudity offensive. Eyeful, and Harrisons other magazines, were not published on a regular basis until after the war, when they appeared bimonthly.
The distinctive pin-up cover art of Eyeful, produced by artists such as Driben, Devorss and others, was slowly phased out in the early 1950's. They were replaced by photographed models, with the subtitle being changed to "Glorifying the American Girl". Eyeful often contained Betty Page posing as the centrefold, having started out appearing in Harrison's other magazines in about 1951.
