A mildly large, but by no means definitive list of pin-up sites on the web.
The Pinupzone,
a very impressive site devoted to Betty Page, Bunny Yeager and Marilyn Monroe amongst others. |
| For the ultimate 50's site go now to:
Rewind The Fifties
A site that has just about everything, cars, music, clipart. You name
it they've probably got it. Ever so definitely recommended. |
 |
| Don't miss Jaap van Deijk's Classic Pin-Up Page. A good selection of
artists as well as a large collection of Gil Elvgren's work. |
This site is exceedingly well done, in fact one of the best I have seen. She has a lot of pin-up inspired artwork and it is well worth visiting. Go there now! although not until you
have checked out my site of course :) |
Click to visit Jerry Tibstra's pinup site, containing his own work. |
Click to visit the excellent Varla Magazine site, full of pinups for the 90's |
| If you are feeling adventurous and have a smattering of German, (and lots of patience), can I suggest you try
Pin-Up und ihre Künstler. This site has a large selection of artist's work but is regrettably slower than an asthmatic ant with heavy shopping, you have been warned! |
Click here to check out a modern pinup girl. |
| A good place to go for lots of pinup goodies is: Pinup.Simplenet.com, well worth checking out. |
| Looking for Pinup sites? Why not try Planet Pinup for a large selection of Pinup related links. |
| Why not have a look at The Pinup Art Of Paul Corfield |
The Ladies of Lindy Pinups.
1999 Girls of Swing Pinup Calendar. |
| Why not visit Elvgren.com a site written by the authors of The Great American Pin-Up. |
A fantastic site full of over 500 pics online and more pics are added monthly, lots of which I hadn't seen before. Well worth a visit. |
By the same chap who runs the Marilyn Monroe Directory. The Wink etc. covers are the same ones as here but it does have a large section on Donald Rust. Worth a look. |
Rich Victor's nicely designed site contains pages on Alberto
Vargas, Gil Elvgren and Al Buell. Well worth visiting. |
| Why not pay a visit to Scandolls. Yet another beautifully designed site by Rich Victor. |
| Why not visit The Colors an online gallery featuring work by a variety of artists. |
| For yet
another Vargas
page try: The Vargas and Airport Experience. The airport reference creeps in due to the
fact there's a link to Heathrow airport on the page...exciting news I'm sure you'll agree.
As to the Vargas page, well, its a collection of pictures from the net. Some good, some
dreadful, mostly 1960's and 70's stuff. |
| For a large and varied Betty Page site may I suggest the
Betty Page Tribute. Lots of pictures of Miss Page plus B movie posters, various magazine covers etc. A word of warning, this
site has the most annoying midi accompaniment ever! |
| For a real 40's & 50's Pin-up girl try the
3D Betty Page
. Yes! Its Betty Page in full 3D glory, remember to wear your 3D glasses. |
Kitten aka Heather's website with 3 pages of Betty Page images. She has linked me and I'm linking her back, (at least her site is Pinup orientated).

Link to the chap who is licensed to replicate the art
of Elvgren, Vargas and others. Nice selection of goodies, but expensive (well, I thought it was expensive anyway ;)). No doubt worth it however, if you've got money burning a hole in your pocket.
|
| Should you be feeling rich enough to buy an original painting you can try the
great american pinup
website, which has a range of original paintings by Vargas, Petty, Driben etc...
|
| For a fantastic selection of pinup art, and other 1950's bits and pieces, go to Budplant.com Well worth a visit. |
| Collectors with a limited, (and slightly more realistic), budget would be well advised to visit
Paper Doll. They have a selection of original 1950's surplus prints and calendars.
|
| For another excellent collectors site try PaperStuff. Again it's surplus prints and calendars, but a much greater selection
than Paper Doll.
