Why papillons?
At shows I'd always admired papillons. They are so bright and lively, pretty, intelligent and beautifully balanced.
Their coats are very easy to maintain and
they have very low running costs. They are also versatile enough for showing, obedience and agility
(all with the same dog) and still curl up on the sofa afterwards
So, if you want an energetic companion who is capable of a 10 mile walk, but would be just as happy to play in the garden, whose dainty looks will be
admired by friends, and who you can share your hobbies with (whether they be agility, showing, or chilling in front of the TV) then a papillon may be for you.
As with any dog, do not consider one as a pet if you do not have the necessary time to devote to it. Because of their small size,
you may also need to think carefully before buying a papillon if you already have large dogs (or children!).
