1991 - now: Freelance Writer/Editor/Researcher

Freelance writer/editor/researcher for range of clients, both print media and online, specialising in arts journalism and comment. Regular reviewer for several music & entertainment-related magazines and content provider for corporate and artist websites. In the past I've worked for b2b, trade and consumer magazines on a range of topics including tourism, hospitality, medical/health, leisure, food & drink, telecoms & retail.

1990-91 Assistant to Director of Music, King's College, Cambridge, UK

Assisting Stephen Cleobury, Director of Music. Organising foreign concert tours for the world-famous Choir of King's College, Cambridge. Running the director's office and liaising with promoters, record companies, visiting musicians and singers as well as college authorities and teaching staff, undergraduates, boy choristers and their parents. This position was a one-year contract covering permanent employee's extended sickness leave. At the end of the year I was offered the job on a permanent basis but chose to concentrate on work.
