Holiday in Wales

We went to Wales for a few days holiday over Grant's Easter break. We took along his friend Will. Here are the boys in Snowdonia, home of the highest peak in England.  Here is the view down Church Street from our front door. You can see one of the towers of Caernarfon castle at the end of the street.
We stayed in the Bath Tower, which is a Landmark Trust property that is part of the castle walls. The boys slept downstairs in the 'dungeon' whilst us grownups were in the top of the tower. Very handy!!
We took the boys to a climbing center outside Llanberis and they had a great time. Will was a real Spiderman! The absailing training from Boy Scouts came in handy for Grant!
Perry was the boy's instructor and he was excellent. Down from the center, the boys posed at Lake Snowdon.
Here's Sooz from our balcony, with the castle in the background. We had a great meal at Stone's bistro; note Don's gigantic leg of lamb!
