| Massive,
towering, moss-covered trees, with roots as tall as a man, dominate this
amazing, lush rain forest. Thick vines cable down from high above. The mist
filled air is heavily populated by insect life. Huge-leafed plants and ferns
fill the spaces on the jungle floor between giant, mossy logs and stumps.
Rocky outcrops can be found on steep hillsides, valleys lead down to wide
rivers, some of which are fed by powerful waterfalls. The flora begins to
thin out as you approach the woodland hills. |
