Savanna Level

Gentle plains are covered with fields of tall green-brown grass. Some water springs up from the ground and rain is collected in an occasional muddy pond. Clutches of trees are few and far between. Those that do exist make suitable habitats for a myriad of birds while the undergrowth may shade a Sabretooth or two from the hot sun. Gradually, the ground becomes wetter and flatter as you approach the swamp.
