4/8/2004 Advance Notice; Please note that the 60th Anniversary of the D-Day Landings and the Battle of Normandy and the 60th Anniversary of the engagement at Villers-Bocage, pages will be removed from the site on or around 5th September 2004, as they are only 60th Anniversary editions. If anyone would like copies of these pages please let me know and I will email them one.

25/9/2004 New pages for Divisional Commanders and Winners of the Victoria Cross added, plus the site map has been updated. The Artefacts and Pictures page has been amended and additional pages added to make the use and maintenance of this area of the site much easier. It is likely that this area will grow greatly in the next few months.

17/4/2005 Important Notice: Space on a second Website is now being used to allow expansion as the information available is now growing. To the user this should appear seamless, with just another url appearing in the top box.

Also this has allowed archive commemoration files to be posted again for reference too. These are for 60th Anniversary of the D-Day Landings and the Battle of Normandy and the 60th Anniversary of the engagement at Villers-Bocage. Please go via the Archives page to access them.

20/4/2005 Badge for I Battery, RHA added and a coloured version of the Badge for DD (Jerboa) Battery, 4th RHA, also added to the Artillery Organisation Page.
06/8/2005 Badge of 131st Queen's Lorried Infantry Brigade added to the Infantry Organisation page.

The TAC Signs of 4th Armoured and 7th Armoured Brigades used on the Armoured Units Page. New website created to provide information on the 4th and 7th Armoured Brigades, after they left 7th Armoured Division. A central web page to link the two websites together has also be created called The History of the British 7th Armoured Division, plus the 4th and 7th Armoured Brigades - "The Desert Rats, The Black Rats and Green Jerboa".

VE day and Berlin Victory Parade 60th Anniversary page now added to the Archives page and all archive commemoration pages added to the site map. This means that all 60th Anniversary Special pages are now available on the web for future reference

17/11/2005 Extensive re-working of the site completed, with the style of website updated to only use real TAC signs on the headers of each page, instead of the reverse one currently used, plus much, much else as listed below.

Information on Armoured Bulldozers and Sherman Bulldozer tanks added to the Other Units Equipment Page and to the Tanks Page respectively. Also on the latter more information on Sherman variants, plus many better pictures of the other Tanks have been updated, too.

The Artefacts pages have been updated to show more pictures of 4th South African Armoured Car Regiment, 1st LAA Regiment and 15th (IOM) LAA Regiment, plus many other new photographs and memorabilia, with the latter including letters from Montgomery and Eisenhower to the troops.

Also the Archive pages have been moved, but access to them should not be effected.
