Lanark Promoted!!
We played our final round fixture in the SNCL at the weekend, meeting Stonehaven in a match we needed to draw to win promotion. Missing a couple of regulars our team was Jim Smalls, Brian Walls, Ian Brownlee, Tom Brown and John Henderson. Wins for Jim, Brian and John, a draw for Tom and a loss for Ian gave us a solid victory by 3½ - 1½ that will see us play in Division 2 next season.
