Lotus Elan plus Two (1969)
Kit built in bright blue, I opted for the four seats (occasional two) because the two-seater Elan was just too small for me.
Top speed attained (per the speedo) was 118mph; the car handled well enough, but never felt rigid enough, and oh, those doughtnut drive shaft couplings. They wound up something rotten, so you accelerated away in a series of leaps.
I quite liked the car, but was happy to swap it for the twin-cam seven
