CD cover, Alan Clare Here are some photos of the school's 1953 production of the 'Pirates of Penzance', made available by Alan Clare (Aston 1949). He sent them to me on a CD. In his accompanying letter Alan wrote: "I thought I'd go the whole hog and put a label on it - we can't let these 21st century Astonians think we old codgers don't understand their hi-tech tricks and gizmos!"
