Diss Town Football Club announces the appointment of Robert Taylor as First Team Manager with immediate effect. He will meet with the players for a training match on Tuesday evening ahead of the final two league games of the season.

Paul Tong offered his resignation as First Team Manager after the match with Gorleston on Tuesday 1^st April. It was declined. The Board subsequently met with Mr Tong to discuss the situation. The Board decided to look for a new Manager for next season. The Chairman communicated this decision to Mr Tong after the Fakenham match on Tuesday 15^th April. During a discussion on Friday morning with The Chairman it was agreed that Mr Tong would leave the position immediately.

Chairman Des Tebble said, “We welcome Robert Taylor to Diss Town Football Club and would like to record our thanks to Paul Tong for his efforts during the last year with us.”
