Here are a few cars from my current fleet. If I'm popping down to the shops I usually take the Alfa as it annoys everybody at the supermarket car park when I use two spaces. The Maserati is nice on the motorway if it's dry. The Tyrell goes like stink.

GP2 was published by Microprose and written by Geoff Crammond

In order to get the most out of GP2 you will need a few utilities:

GP3 was released on July 28 2000 and simulates the 1998 Formula 1 season

GP4 was released on 9 October 2002 and is the latest instalment of the series

Grand Prix Legends ('GPL'), published by Sierra Sports / Papyrus

GPL simulates the 1967 Formula 1 season using the following tracks: Kyalami, Mexico, Monaco, Monza, Mosport, Nurburg, Rouen, Silverstone, Spa, Watkins Glen and Zandvort.You can also download additional tracks including Brands Hatch (see the links below). You can select from one of the following makes of car: Brabham, BRM, Coventry, Eagle, Ferrari, Lotus and Murasama. The driving model is extremely advanced, probably the best currently available.

A few tips which you may find useful:

• turn off some of the textures in the mirrors if you're short of processor power;

• the Lotus is probably the fastest but the Eagle is slightly easier to drive;

• Monza is the easiest track to learn and a good place to start;

• use headphones and turn the volume up; and

• turn off all driver aids.
