After the war dad remained with the army, he
also changed regiment from the "Loyals" now part of "The Queen's
Lancashire Regiment", to "The Kings Own Royal Regiment" Their Headquarters
were at Boweram Barracks and its Drill Hall at Phoenix Street, Lancaster
He served in Germany, Hong Kong and of course another bloody Far East War,
"Korea", under the United Nations
