- Colin Crumplin
Colin Crumplin studied painting at Chelsea School of Art and the Slade to 1970. From that point he has exhibited widely throughout Britain, including five solo exhibitions in London, as well as those at MOMA Oxford, the John Hansard Gallery Southampton and in Brussels. He has shown in some 50 group shows throughout Britain and in Belgium, Italy, Switzerland and the united States and has curated exhibitions including Four English Painters n Luzern and Chance Choice and Irony in London and Southampton, each of which introduced artists “new” to those countries. His work is represented in many collections including those of the Arts Council of England, the British Council, Deutsche Bank, Saatchi and Southampton City Art gallery.
