This is my favourite, they've
currently got a new version available for Beta. It's the one I use for all my
web pages, it's fast, runs on just about any machine and it's small. Some
excellent example pages, a brilliant tag reference and you can make your own
tools. It's called
GOMER.

If you're looking for
somewhere to sit your site, become a member of CompuServe. You get 2 Mb free
space, and you can update your pages as often as you like. They also have lots
of handy tools and links and advice. This is their
OurWorld server.

A brilliant site that has
helped my career no end. Learn how to fade the background through black before
displaying your web page, play sound, create animations, create windows, remote
controls. Oh it's just brilliant I nearly wet myself just thinking about it.
JavaScript tip of the week. Other great JavaScript and Dynamic HTML
sites are available from Web Reference, I suggest you check them out. |

Here's some pages I visited
and found useful. Creating Killer
Websites Online is a pretty good site, with lots of helpful advice.
Some nice design tips, and he claims to have found a way of controlling offsets
in most browsers, but he's not letting on just yet.

Giffy
is for optimising GIF files. I use it all the time. Jpeg
optimiser allows you to compress some areas of a Jpeg file more than
others.
