Brown joins Leisure Connection
Jill Brown has joined sport and leisure management company Leisure Connection as its new sales and marketing director.
Brown has a strong leisure and service sales and marketing background which includes posts at Burger King, Little Chef and Travelodge.
Based at the group’s head office in Leeds, Brown’s new role will principally involve helping to develop Leisure Connection’s sales and marketing functions by working with individual sites and teams while supporting management to build upon the group’s current market position.
Brown said: “It is an exciting time to be joining Leisure Connection. I am looking forward to working with the teams on site and throughout the company to develop strategies and activities which will communicate that Leisure Connection is the industry leader in sports and leisure facility management.” Details:

Holdings, the leisure management group, and Robinia Holdings, which care for
adults with serious learning difficulties. He is also Non-Executive Director of
and Investor in: Protocol Associates, the education services group.
He is a Trustee of The Prince's Foundation; The Greenwich Foundation. He is also
a Member of the Advisory Forum of Said Business School, Oxford University. His
previous roles have included being Chief Executive Officer of Historic Royal
Palaces and Wembley plc; a Member of the Executive Board of Compass plc; a
Non-Executive Honorary Chairman of INCLUDE (charity) and NW London Training and
Enterprise Council. Non Executive Director of Carillion plc; Metroline plc and
Management Consultant KPMG.
Alan is Co-author of Timeless Management (Palgrave Macmillan, 2002). He is a
Companion of the Chartered Management Institute and a Fellow of the Royal
Society of Arts. Has lectured at universities and spoken on leadership,
organisational structure, culture and change.
