In 1990 Cromer Signal
Box was the only fully operational Ex M&GN Box on the rail network,
and very well cared for it looked too. The Signalman at the time must
have been a keen gardener judging by the beautiful display of flowers
adorning it's exterior. Now no longer required since the upgrading of
the Norwich to Sheringham line the box is looking in a very sorry state.
I wonder what the future holds for this piece of
local railway history !
