19th October 1991 Two celebrity Steam Locomotives visit Kings Lynn.
LNER A3 Pacific 4472 'Flying Scotsman' and SR West Country Class Pacific 34027 'Taw Valley'

I was prompted after stumbling across Brian Baylis’s Fotopic site to dig out some old pictures I’d taken at Kings Lynn in1991.
I’m unsure exactly what the occasion was now but I think it may have been linked with the recent electrification of the line.
However I do remember how bitterly cold it was hanging around in failing light to capture the final departure of 4472.
