Who has written this web site?
People, very wisely (pun intended) want to know the qualifications of the person writing a web site like this. I am a Methodist Minister in the UK and a keen amateur astronomer. This Web site takes the Gospel account as a serious attempt to describe theological ideas through the reporting of the facts known to the writers. The Gospel writers did not invent stories to make theological points. At the same time I view the Bible in the light of current historical and scientific information.
For those who are concerned about such things, I am pleased to affirm that I have a personal faith in Jesus Christ - God's only Son and the only means to Salvation.
