Daoyin Yangsheng Gong consists of many sets of exercises each one used either for general health or
for specific types of diseases. Most have a routine for the able bodied and a disabled version. There are also
warm-up routines as well as sequences for martial artists and also updates versions of classic routines likes
the Baduanjin (Eight Brocade Exercise).
Listed below are some of the more than thirty routines in in system.
- Daoyin Baojian Gong
- Daoyin Health Preservation Exercise,
which is designed both to improve health in general and to remedy diseases when one is sick.
- Xingti Shiyun
- Has a similar function to Daoyin Baojian Gong,
i.e. to improve health in general and to remedy diseases when one is sick.
- Shujin Zhuanggu Gong
- Locomotor System Exercise (Muscle and
Bone Form), which helps to relieve pains in the neck, shoulders, loin and legs, to cure weakness
of muscles and rigidity, myotrophy, and other bone and muscle ailments.
- Yiqi Yangfei Gong
- Respiratory System Exercise, which is
designed to prevent and cure colds, upper respiratory tract infections, acute and chronic
bronchitis, pulmonary emphysema and other respiratory illnesses.
- Yuzhen Buyuan Gong
- Kidney Exercise, which is used in the
prevention and cure of urogenital and menstrual problems. It is also beneficial for prenatal
and postnatal Essence and strengthening the kidneys and waist.
- Shugan Lidan Gong
- Liver and Bile Secretion Exercise, which
is aimed at solving hepatitis, cholecystitis, cholelithiasis and both acute and chronic liver
and gall-bladder troubles.
- Shuxin Pingxue Gong
- Cardiovascular Exercise, which is
indicated for prevention and cure of hypertension, hypotension, coronary heart disease,
tachycardia, and other cardiovascular diseases.
- Hewei Jianpi Gong
- Digestive System Exercise, which is
indicated for indigestion, stomach-ache, peptic ulcer and other digestive problems.
- Sishijiushi Jingluo Donggong
- Dynamic Meridian Exercise in
Forty-nine Posture, which helps to prevent and cure lung cancer, intestinal cancer and illnesses
of the respiratory, cardiovascular and digestive systems.
- Zuoshi Xingzhi Gong
- Seated Exercise for Releasing Stagnation
- Zuoshi Chubi Gong
- Seated Exercise for Removing Rheumatism and Arthritis
- Yangsheng Taiji Zhang
- More advanced routines people who like a challenge.

It takes on average 10 minutes or less to complete one set of exercises except for the Meridian
Dynamic Exercise with Forty-nine Postures which requires 28 minutes to finish.
