The
October Wargames Association meets weekly to play many different games
including:
Board Games
– Settlers of Catan, Civilisation, Carcasonne and others
Wargames-
Warhammer, Pirates of the Spanish
Main, D+D Minis, Star Wars
Minis, Many Historical Periods and rules :
POW, DBM, DBA, WRG, many
skirmish games : western gunfights, Napoleonic you name it and we will try it!
Roleplaying games. D+D, Traveller, HARP, C+S, Judge Dredd and others.

Field Trips
We have organised trips to
several battlefields. In 2004 we went to Arnhem. (pics to
follow)
We
plan future trips to WW1 battlefields. (Probably in 2006)

We also put on demo or participation games at some of these shows plus Alumwell in March, Sheffield Triples in April, Midland Militaire in June, Wargamer in September , Warfare in November and Sandwell in December have been attended
on occasion.
Sheffield Triples in particular is the occasions of big scale Napoleonic
