The Church, hall and manse

We have recently purchased this new manse: a beautiful eight-apartment detached villa at the head of a quiet cul de sac, conveniently and centrally located in the town. Accommodation includes four bedrooms, one of which has an en suite bathroom; a further study/bedroom; lounge, dining room and family room; a modern and very well-fitted kitchen and utility room; garage and large corner garden with a summer house. The house is decorated and appointed to the highest standards.

The church hall is well-used by a variety of local organisations and charities for social events. The Social and Enterprise Committee organises a successful programme of Friday Night events, on a monthly basis.

We are a self-supporting congregation. A copy of the recent financial statement is enclosed.

The Present and the Future

St Margaret’s congregation, whilst comfortable with a traditional approach to public worship, has demonstrated a flexible attitude by embracing beneficial changes over the past few years. To work with us and to support develop and expand the life of our Kirk, we seek a minister who will guide and encourage us to respond to the challenges and opportunities we face.
