In the meantime here is a brief summary of the St Albans game.
Sutton went ahead in the 38 minute following a corner. The ball was cleared as far as Matt Hanlan who got his head to it, for Sutton's first.
Sutton spent a good proportion of the first 45 minutes in their own half without really being threatened. After the interval Sutton stepped up a gear
and scored through a John Ugbah shot following a knock down from a corner (48 mins). Joff Vansittart followed up on 50 minutes with his 15 league goal of the season.
After a twenty minute florish Sutton relaxed their grip on the game allowing St Albans to score.
Sutton will be away on Tuesday night 27/1/98 at Romford in the Guardian Insurance cup and then travel to Heybridge in the league next Saturday.
