HITCHIN 3 SUTTON UNITED 0
Sutton's sixth consecutive defeat , they have conceded 20 goals in that period. Today was no different. Again a strong start , where Sutton would have felt a little bit unlucky not to go in at the interval with the lead, although Hitchin did have 2 good chances.
Four minutes after the break things changed. Sutton were dispossessed in mid field and a Hitchin striker was left one on one with reserve keeper Dunn. After taking the lead Hitchin took control . They hit the bar but Danny Bolt forced a good save from the keeper after a 30 yard shot. 12 minutes from type a shot from Parker beat Dunn. Hitchin could have had a 3rd but it was ruled offside. The final goal in the dying minutes came from a header.
Craig Howard made his debut at full back whilst Nko Ekoku dropped back to full back.
