Here is My personnel profile of Sutton supporters, this is meant as a light hearted introduction .
The average Sutton supporter is somewhat different from most other non league followers in one major way. We are dedicated and We are (author excepted) knowledgeable, but this is far from being unique. What singles us out, is - We are quiet. Our ground , was ,as you can see from the photos, originally a running track. This means that the crowd is some way away from the action, never good for an exciting atmosphere. The wide open terraces also tends to cause a spreading out of the crowd. This spreading out becomes a habit for us, so when We visit your ground don't be surprised to see small groups of Sutton fans all around the terraces, like oil on water.
We have a valiant group of supporters who gather together and give us their best in vocal support, but for the rest of us, its polite applause. So you could be spending a lot of time singing "its all gone quite over there!". Don't let our placid attitude fool you into thinking that there aren't many of us because we take a higher than usual percentage of our home crowd away . Very occasionally we become vociferous. We're a bit like diesel fuel ,explosive, when under pressure and confined to a small space. But generally it's a case of "can you be quiet please I'm trying to watch a football match".

Definitely untrue, I think this description comes from our championship winning game against them . It wasn't until the end of the game that we got going , not miserable but shy perhaps?
