Janet has been playing Hammered Dulcimer for almost ten years and is now established as one of the leading players in the area. She has done much to promote interest in the instrument through local festivals, folk clubs and sessions and often finds herself leading impromtu workshops at the band’s gigs!

Janet joined the Goose & Gridiron Band in 1991 and now provides an essential element to the overall sound with her two dulcimers. She is also a mean tambourine player and has an interesting collection of percussion instruments

Resident performer and co-organiser of The Hollybush Folk Club, she also helps with the local Unicorn Folk Magazine.
