The Association for Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus (ASBAH) is a National Registered Charity No: 249338, established in 1966. It offers practical help and information to individuals with spina bifida and/or hydrocephalus and their families. It has specialist advisers in mobility, continence, hydrocephalus, education etc. It also arranges contact between affected families through local associations in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. It publishes "LIFT" newsletter for young people, "LINK" journal six times a year and "HN (Hydrocephalus) News". It has a wide range of information available, details on request. The Association has over 2000 families and individuals in touch.
