We are sorry to hear that Anastasia (Stacey) Gallagher has lost her battle with Parkinson’s disease. Stacey, who walked with the group for nearly twenty years died in January 2007.A wonderful, friendly person who always had time for others.

Evening meetings - now on Thursdays - see programme for more details but remember start time is 7.45pm now!

Please note: September 25 - 29 A long weekend of walking based at Corsham near Chippenham, Wiltshire. Some places still available. Information on front of programme.

Please note: Sunday October 19 Joint walk with the London Blind Walking Club. Details will be given in the next programme but we need your help, so please put the date in your diary to come and help guide members and meet old friends

Leaders Telephone numbers are only available on the printed programme sent out to all West London Group members and to secondary members. Please email the Secretary if you have any query about one of the walks and he will do his best to answer it. Please allow at least three days notice - if possible. We are all volunteers and may not check emails every day especially if away on holiday!

Sunningdale circular. 10 miles. Easy pace. Windsor Royal Parks and blossom time in Savill Gardens (picnic or restaurant for lunch). No hills but woods and lakes. Depart Waterloo 9.20, arrive Sunningdale 10.07.

Linear Clandon to West Humble. About 13 miles with some hills. Via Clandon Downs to the North Downs Way, through Shere to Sutton Abinger (pub lunch at The Volunteer). Continue via Deer Leap Wood, Coombe Farm, North Downs Way to Ranmore Common (tea at the Church). Depart Waterloo 8.57, Clapham Junction 9.05, change at Surbiton to depart for Clandon 9.32, arriving at 9.58.

Linear Rye to Hastings. 13 miles. Early lunch at The New Inn, Winchelsea. Royal Military Canal and cliff scenery, past Fairlight Cove to Fairlight Village (possible tea). Then descend into Fairlight and Ecclesbourne Glens (very hilly section with many steps, but flatter alternative of Barley Lane available). Depart Charing Cross 8.54, Waterloo East 8.57, change at Ashford International for 10.21 to Rye, arriving 10.44.
