The Trust's aim is to identify a viable and sustainable use for the Castle that embraces one or more of the following:

Educational focus
Enhanced Visitor facilities
Community resource

whilst generating sufficient revenue to make our project sustainable.

This is to be achieved in the following stages:

Establish the Trust
Commission a feasibility (scoping) study
Complete acquisition of the Castle
Develop a Conservation plan
Prepare Grant Applications
Await Grant Decisions
Implement conservation and management plan
