Just 5 miles from the market town of Ross-on-Wye it's a perfect base for exploring the scenic Wye Valley and the Royal Forest of Dean. The farmhouse is just a ten minute drive from the world famous Symonds Yat Rock renowned for its magnificent viewpoint over the 'Horseshoe' bend on the River Wye. There is much to explore with numerous activities for the outdoor visitor including golf, canoeing, cycling and fishing. Trecilla Farm even has it's own fishing rights on the Garron brook where you can try your luck for a brown trout, or more serious game fishing can be arranged on a stretch of the river Wye at Symonds Yat.
On arrival, you will be invited to unwind with complimentary refreshments in the Drawing Room or Garden Room. Guests are encouraged to stroll around the delightful gardens and sit for a while to savour the peace and tranquillity of this rural gem. The informal walled gardens, rose trellis and lawns overlook an ancient spring fed stream that flows through the garden. The house is comfortably furnished with fine period pieces and all the bedrooms have en-suite facilities with shaver sockets and are exceptionally well appointed with all you need for your comfort, including colour television, bedside radios with alarms, hair dryers and tea and coffee making facilities. There is a magnificent traditional Four Poster bed in the spacious Victorian room. All rooms are centrally heated.
