Welcome to Yewtree House, a comfortable country house situated in a tranquil rural location in this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Yewtree House is an original Herefordshire cottage and cider house which has been extended and renovated to a high standard and is beautifully and thoughtfully furnished throughout.

Situated in an elevated position on Bulls Hill, 3 miles south-west of the picturesque market town of Ross-on Wye, Yewtree House nestles in the middle of a large fenced and totally secluded level garden with mature trees, large lawns and flower beds. Surrounded by meadows and woodland, it has no passing traffic and so provides a haven of peaceful tranquility for a relaxing break. The location is perfect for walkers and explorers alike and is ideal for enjoying the local countryside and admiring its nature and wildlife all year round.

It's an ideal base for touring the Wye Valley, Royal Forest of Dean, Herefordshire, and South Wales  and is just a 5 minute drive from the market town of Ross-on-Wye, 10 minutes from Monmouth, 30 minutes from Hereford and Gloucester and Cardiff is less than an hour away.

Yewtree House has two comfortable lounges making it ideal for the larger family or for two families holidaying together. Both lounges have solid oak flooring, automatic storage heating and feature fireplaces (one with a woodburning stove) and both have views of the front garden.

The Kitchen is spacious, modern and fully equipped with oil fired range for heating and cooking, electric halogen hob, fridge freezer, microwave, washing machine & tumble dryer. Adjacent to the kitchen is the Garden room with seating and direct access to the garden.

There are 4 comfortable bedrooms, two double, one twin and one single. Bedroom one is on the ground floor and has a king size four poster bed, patio doors and wonderful views of the front and back gardens. The ground floor also has a shower/steam room with toilet and there is also a large first floor family bathroom, both are newly fitted with modern suites.
