From: Jude Awdry . . . To: Chat@speenbucks.org Date: 02 May 2003 16:33 . . . Subject: Nearly a year gone by! Hi, I just noticed that the last "chat" was on the day of our silver wedding anniversary. Simply thought I'd plug the gap before a whole year goes by! Jude & Miles Awdry |

From: Carol Feben . . . To: Chat@speenbucks.org Date: 25 June 2002 23:32 . . . Subject: Speen What a beautiful village Speen is! No-one seems to have chatted for a very long time here though. We are looking for a plot of land to build our own home and wonder if anyone out there can help us? We are also interested to have an idea of property prices currently. Thanks to anyone who may reply. Carol and Andrew Feben |

I hear talk that the King William is changing hands and will open up as a pub again. Is there any truth in this story ? |

Just a personal view. I thought the Speen Magical Millennium Fete was excellent. The organisers are to be congratulated, I hope the event goes from strength to strength. Well done.
