Oron Alfred Jenner embarked from Halifax on the 18th of April 1917 He disembarked from the S.S. Scandinavian at Liverpool on the 29th of April On April 30th he was stationed with the 3rd Canadian Reserve Bn. at Sandling, Folkestone, Kent On the 25th of May 1917 there was a daylight air raid on Folkestone carried out by 23 German Gothas 95 people were killed and 195 injured
