Until December 2005 the tower contained a ring of three in a six bell frame. They are now a ring of six as two second-hand bells from Wokingham, All Saints have been tuned to become the treble & second of six and a newly cast bell has been added to complete the ring. We are currently looking for two additional bells to complete the octave.
Kirkby Overblow, North Yorkshire,
All Saints
The tower contains a ring of three tuned as treble, second and tenor of a ring of four. We have located two second-hand bells that could be used as the second and fifth of a ring of six. An alternative proposal is being considered to replace the bells with a redundant ring from Yorkshire.
Clapham, North Yorkshire,
St James
The ring of three bells is to be augmented, hopefully to a ring of six. Two second-hand bells have been located and the Trust is donating one of these to the project.
Brompton, North Yorkshire,
St Thomas
The light ring of eight bells from Denholme (picture on the left) has been removed and are to be installed at Brompton near Northallerton (picture on right) when funds permit. The parish has taken advantage of the Trust's Bell Rescue Fund to acquire the ring and they will be installed when funds permit. The Trust has offered to donate the tenor bell.
