Lampwork butterfly with pink upper
wings, green lower wings, orange body and bright orange antennae tipped with
light blue. The wings are enhanced with millefiori inclusions in blue-and-white
and green-and-white. The insect floats over a clear ground and is surrounded by
a garland of large and small canes. The signature cane is set at the inner edge
of the lower part of the garland.
The white "stardust" cane with the
pink quatrefoil centre is also seen in Vasart items.
Dark glass indicates 1930s period.
UV tests confirm pre-Caithness.
