All the signs outside say the pub is famous for fish. Big pub on the inside. Beer garden. Food served. Guest ales. The Hardy Country Bitter comes across as a bit watery at first, but has a pleasant aftertaste and virtually no head. Visited July 2001

Popular town centre pub near Brewers Quay. Serves a variety of beers including the local Weymouth Ales. The Organic Gold was a distinctive and very tasty pint. Very good value food served. Loads of tables outside. Can be very busy so expect a delay in being served. Guest ales. Visited July 2001

Basic harbour front local. The Bass was respectably drinkable. Food served - including cheap bacon butties. A yard of ale costs £5.00 - has anyone given this a go ?  Visited July 2001

Old fashioned town centre pub. The Ridings Bitter was tasty but a bit on the cold side. Beams and low ceilings add to the atmosphere which was destroyed by a disk jockey monkey playing loud records. Beer scores by Rick Jones, Tim Pinnell and Rob Schnaar. Visited October 2000

The brewery gives guided tours and also has a pub on-site. Beer is brewed the old fashioned way using just malt, water, hops, yeast and finings. Several different brews are available but only one was tasted. Visited June 2001
