comments - Following several applications to turn the pub into a house,
this was agreed in 2006, but new owners in 2007 have applied for a licence
- June 2007 - The licencees from the Fir Tree Inn at Crew Green have bought the pub and are indeed intending to reopen the Tontine - July 2007 - Tontine At Melverley has reopened as a pub about a week ago. One real ale (Okells). Excellent pub and beer - Aug 2008 |
