Q1. What is BTinternet Anytime?

Q3. What does BTinternet Anytime offer me?

Q6. How do I pay for BTinternet Anytime?
A6. You will be able to pay for BTinternet Anytime using either Mastercard,
Visa or Visa Delta cards. Unfortunately we are unable to accept Switch
or any other means of payment for this option.
Q7. Will I be able to pay for BTinternet Anytime on my phone bill?
A7. No. You can only pay for BTinternet Anytime using Mastercard, Visa or Delta cards.
Connection/Access queries
Q1. Do I have to be a BT customer to get BTinternet Anytime?
A1. Yes, you will need a BT line to join this service. If you are not sure whether your telephone line is supplied by BT please contact your telephony supplier.
Q2. Why do I need a BT line?
A2: Initially BTinternet Anytime access will be provided via an 0800 Freefone number, which is available to all customers. In April 2001 BTinternet Anytime will be converted to a new number range provided by BT and based on their Flat Rate Internet Access Call Origin (FRIACO) scheme, for which customers will need to use a BT line.
Q3. I am with another ISP and use SurfTime. How do I change from this
method of accessing the internet to BTinternet Anytime?
A3. Firstly, you will need to sign up for BTinternet Anytime using either
a Mastercard, Visa or Visa Delta card. Then, simply cancel your contract
with your current ISP and finally call BT on 150 to cease your SurfTime
package.
Q4. Can I use my ISDN2 line to connect to the internet if I'm on the
BTinternet Anytime option?
A4. You will be able to connect on ISDN2 at 64kbps but if you want to
connect at 128kbps you will have to use the BTinternet local call rate
dialler (available for download from the BTinternet home page) and pay
two local call charges.
Q5. Is BTinternet Anytime the same as BT's SurfTime Anytime package?
A5. No. BTinternet Anytime is not a BT SurfTime product. BTinternet Anytime
is available exclusively from BTinternet. Our range of BTinternet for
BT's Surf packages offer unlimited evening and weekend internet call access
only.
