Going public
You've designed and written your pages, checked the HTML and tested them using every known browser. Now it's time to let your creation loose on the paying public.

You can manually submit your page to the major search engines such as Excite, Yahoo or AltaVista. To make this easier you can use a service like Submit It! which will publicise your Web pages to the main search engines.

As well as this you can also submit your site to the BTinternet directory of Customer Home Pages. If your site is good you might even win the Home Page of the Week award.
