Hello Amanda, Our mutual friend, Lynda, told me about your poems and your web site, so I thought I would have a look. I like your poems very much, they are a bit sad, but very thought provockeing. I think I like "The Act of Life" best of all of them,and life is a bit like a play, isnt it, with various stages we go through. You have summed up well the feelings we all have about life, where are we going, where did we come from, whats it all for, how quickly it all goes. As Shakespeare said, "All the world's a stage, and all the men and women merely players. They have their exits and their entrances" etc. As Lynda probably told you, I write a bit myself, though mine range from the more serious and somber, to humerous and silly ! I also write stuff occasionally for friends birthdays, weddings etc.
