Missile Defence
Well I am sure you've heard of this new fangled American 'star wars defence' system that's scaring Russia and China silly at the moment. But what you probably don't know is how it works, so let me explain:
The star wars defence system isn't in fact as complicated as we've been lead to believe. In fact I have obtained exclusive access to the USA's star wars defence training application! And as It turns out thermonuclear war is child's play! who would have thought?! Anyway here's how you defend the world:
The enemy are sending wave after wave of ICBMs at some of your favourite cities!
You are their only defence.
On either side of your cities you have a 'Hi-Tech Star Wars Defence Base' (or HTSWDB). These HTSWDBs lie in wait of the coming onslaught. When the enemy missiles come into view you must react quickly and blast them out of the sky with your own defence missiles. As you've probably guessed your HTSWDBs house all of your defence missiles, 25 in each and without them everything is lost so they are as vital to protect as the cities (maybe more so). When targeting an enemy missile you must take careful aim and shoot slightly in front of the offending missile(s) this will allow your own missiles time to arrive and detonate in front of the target(s). When all your cities have been destroyed your game is over - sit back and suffer the guilt as you think of the millions of lives lost..
Enough idle chit-chat! People are in danger damn it!
