Highlights

The start of the season and the game that stands out is Villa away at Portsmouth. Can Villa improve on last seasons abysmal away form. Portsmouth on the other hand will be looking to kick start their Premiership arrival with a first home win.

September and the its the Russian revolution at Chelsea. Over the past few seasons Villa have faired well against the Londoners

Now which game stands out in October? Well there that Birmingham derby game! Villa need to restore their pride. The fans expect nothing less, I Can't wait.

November and its off to St James Park to receive another thrashing. In the past couple of seasons Villa have not enjoyed their time in the north east.

On to the Christmas programme and there's some real gems here. Man Utd at Old Trafford needs no explanation. On the 13th Villa Park welcomes back into the top flight Wolves, if last seasons games against WBA were anything to go by this game will be another cracker. Boxing Day and David O'Leary travels up the M1 to face his old club Leeds and surely wants to rub their face in it a bit!

January and Villa face Liverpool away and Arsenal at home add to this Leicester away and all of a sudden points look tough this month.

February and we play host to the return leg of the Birmingham Derby, hopefully we go into this game having secured points away from home! This time David O'Leary welcomes his old team mates at Leeds to his new home.

March and its a short journey up the road to the Molineux to face Wolves another big game.

Our run in could have been kinder. Bolton away will probably be a tough game with the Wanderers again fighting for valuable points Chelsea and Newcastle at home followed by Boro' and Southampton away. The Final game of the season is a real gem as we play host to Man Utd. Will they be coming to Villa Park needing points?
