How refreshing it
is to find a Villa site that doesn,t spout out the usual rhetoric.
Your comments and editorials are well balanced and show that your
editors have given some great thought to the issues that every Villa
fan has at heart. I too am not happy with the state of affairs at the
club but have reasoned that the solution is very complex and that
there is much more to this than the removal of one man.

| Thank you for
your comments and I can confirm that you are not alone in those
thoughts. I can confirm that we will continue to follow the line
that change is needed but not change for change sake.

| In
one of your editorials you seem to suggest that the recent protests
against Doug Ellis are both pointless and against the wishes of the
vast majority of fans.
I can only speak
for myself but if you think that the current status of this once great
club is acceptable then I can only conclude that you speak for a
very small minority that think that Mr Ellis is doing a fine job quite
contrary to what you suggest.
The people you
seem to attack are those that put themselves on the line for the end
result of making a better club for all. |

With regards to the comments you
make I feel we need to clarify our
position. We are certainly not happy with our predicament and are not
content with our position.
The comments you refer to are that of one
of our contributors and we published it with the aim of opening debate
amongst people like yourselves. This has certainly
been the case considering the response we have received.
Adrian the person who
sent in the contribution has been a Villa Season Ticket holder
for more than 30 years and is entitled to question the suggestion that
Villa Fans Combined speak for the majority of fans. Our inbox begs to
differ. Unfortunately those very people who claim to have all the
answers have very little. They continue to
abuse those of us who question not just the Villa board but the
notion that the alternatives don,t exist at present.
At the end of the day we all want a vibrant successful club but what
is needed is a well thought out blueprint. No amount of banner waving
for the removal of one man will solve anything.
