Element 4.1 requires students to describe electronic communication systems, protocols and modes of commnication
Element 4.2  requires students to demonstrate thet they have transferred, received and stored at least one electronic file and one document.  records should show that students have prepared both electronic files and documents to be transferred, described how to set up an electronic system to enable information transfer, and applied appropriate accuracy and security checks
Element 4.3  requires a student to examine types of networks and services, the benefitr and components of networks, and security requirements for networks.  They are also required to produce diagrams of three different network topologies.
Element 4.4 requires students to access a network, observe security procedures, create their own subdirectory structure, manage their own files on a network, access network applications and create, edit and save data files using a network
