Key standards published for international review

Several of the standards whose development has been led by EPISTLE member organizations have reached major milestones. Four documents (Part 1 & 2 of ISO 15926 and Parts 1 & 2 of ISO 18876) have just been circulated for international ballot. Details of the voting process can be obtained from national standards bodies (BSI in the UK).

ISO 15926

Parts 1 and 2 of ISO 15926 "Integration of life-cycle data for process plants including oil & gas production facilities" have been published as Draft International Standards. This is the final major milestone before these parts can be published as full International Standards.

Details of the ballots are as follows:

Copies of the Draft International Standards can only be obtained from national bodies or from ISO.

Further information is available on the ISO 15926 website.

ISO 18876 "IIDEAS"

The first two parts of ISO 18876 "Integration of industrial data for exchange, access, and sharing" have also been submitted for ballot. These parts are to be published as ISO "Technical Specifications", and require only one ballot to approve them for publication.

The documents circulated for ballot, and the ballot dates, are as follows:

Copies of these documents and other information about ISO 18876 are available from the IIDEAS website.
