Start of Term Info

The First two weeks of term are hectic to say the very least so I have tried to put together a list of Rugby Events to ensure that you don't miss anything.

Dates, times and other details will be updated as I find out more so check back as often as you can.

After the first two weeks, you will all have sorted out your e-mail addresses, and I will have added you to the GCRFC Mailing List through which most information is passed.

Diary Dates

02/10/04 - Freshers Week Begins
Middle of 1st week - Freshers Fair. We will have a stand in the JCR, (I think) where you can sign up to the rugby squad, or just register your interest. We take some details off you i.e. e-mail, level played, position etc. and in return, you can have a beer.
End of 1st Week - First Rugby Meeting. I will introduce everyone and run through the plan of attack for the season.
09/10/04 - Trial Match versus Collingwood College. We will play 3 halves of 20 minutes to get a feel of what you are like and how unfit we have all got over the summer! Unconfirmed
09/10/04 - First social. This worked well last year. Pre-initiation, this full college bar crawl will give you a feel of what socials are all about.
13/10/04 - First league match followed by a meal, tie presentation for debutons and beer.
2nd Week - Fresher initiation. You will have a lot of fun and a night to remember being welcomed into the club formally!
